From Toyosu with love
One of Miumi's core business is arranging fresh indent items that arrive weekly to Singapore from Toyosu Japan.
Indent products is a tricky business. As you need to be well versed with the many products that changes with the seasons. Chefs depends a lot on our recommendation and expertise. Therefore good product knowledge and collaboration with a good supplier in Japan is very important.
Miumi is a team of sales person that specialise in products from Japan. Many of us can speak fluent Japanese, thus making communication and sourcing easier. Although we may not all be native Japanese, but we have Japan close to our heart. The culture, the food and all things "Kawaii".

After graduating from university in Japan, I came straight to Singapore.
It is rare to find fresh graduates traveling overseas for work therefore I was featured in a few news articles.
Growing up in the countryside near the sea, I was surrounded by rich beautiful nature and fresh produce. This created in me an interest to bring the culture to others I meet.
Because of this, I am involved in both the sales and purchasing in Miumi, negotiating with fishermen, farmers and production, to bring the best to our customers.

Growing up in a small village town in Japan, travelling has always been my ambition. When I turned 18, I decided to leave my hometown for beautiful Auckland, New Zealand, for 2 years to further my English in a language institute. The endless greenery in Auckland fueled my passion for nature and enjoyment of music. I also spent much time café and bar hopping since I enjoy meeting new people and sipping on exquisite, flavorful drinks.
I spent about 4 years in the hospitality and service industry as I believe service from the heart is the true mark of excellence. I try my very best to support my customers, providing them with the best products and advice from my experiences.
